Nice to finally see the RS2k lump out of the Trailer Markey

Engine ran as sweet as a nut before i pulled it out of the shell.

No smoke, no unusual noises ( not even chain slap ) !!!!

Get it in the damn car Man.....

hope to see it in for next pub meet lol

keep up the good work

is that an invite to drop it round urs and set ur dad on it - thatl be the only way it'l happen lmfao

You very close to putting that lump in now mate!! Any probs give us a shout i will try to help. Your cab is looking really sharp.I really like it. The gauges look fantastic. Ive toyed with the idea but not sure what gauges. Are they easy to fit?? What about connecting them in?? CheersChris

gauges are easy to fit, i cut holes in a sheet of plastic, the gauges have clamps that hold them in place,

only the volt gauge is the only one wired up at the mo, the vacuume gauge needs to tap into a vacuum line n im guna get a sandwick plate for the oil filter to put the oil temp and pressure.

did ya have to do much wire chopping with the engine conversion?

wonder how it would affect the stength on the gearbox if you ground down some of those sticking up edges and polished them smooth? would of thought it would still be strong enough but look nicer. the mk5 box has alot bolted to keep it together anyway. i may have to try it one day. just another stupid idea. only problem is if your running enough power for it to give then it means changing it and i bloody hate changing those boxes.

you could get the 2.3 one off a galaxy. even tho it isn't a 2.3, nice to fib abit...pmsl think the covers are slightly different on the galaxy like the mk6 ones as to where the spark leads come through. not sure tho.

im liking the idea of grinding all the ridges off, but as you said are they ther to give it strength?

im getting fed up polishing now so i think ill just finish it as is to pretty it up a little

even if you leave a couple on, i should think it would need a proper beating to break anyway. and alot more power. i did mine the quick way and sand blasted it. then sprayed it....lol cause i is lazy.
