that prob just how they sit, you also have to allow the springs time to settle, the height will change slightly over time

the only thing to do is try to replace with better second hand parts, not all cabs leak there so there is some good rubbers out there still

do you mean when you push the rocker cover it stops squeaking?

 

if the water pump is failing it will get hot quick and will no doubt leak alot, it will leak more when the car is standing not being used as it aint being pumped round the engine, if it is the water pump then do the cambelt at the same time as the belt runs the pump

if you dont want them shiney dont lacquer them, ive used just two coats of satin black before on other wheels and they seemed to be fine, aslong as the wheels are rubbed down properly then you shouldnt have any probs!
