well fellow cabby owners got a prob with the all blue picked the car up and it fired up no problem stopped at the garage on the way home and it would not start again so i got a jump start and away she went time to go to ford fair on sunday and at 5.00 in the morning it would not start so alice kindly push started me lol and again off it went .thought with a good drive and 3 hours charging no probs but no went to leave ford fair and nothing so the lads gave me a push start ( and after giving a 3 door cossie a push start eariler in the day thought it was pretty funny ) got home on sunday and unpacked the car and again nothing on the key so thought ok battery is fooked went away to work for a week and left another battery on charge while i was away .came home swapped the battery over and still nothing on the key so thought rite full battery must be the starter motor ..changed that over today and nothing waited till alice came home put the jump leads on and still nothing on the key but tied a rope to it and started within 50 yards outside the house now and still nothing on the keys again all ideas welcome thanks in advance ollie

well hope to get some more people at this show as trax has been canceled due to lack of interest more details to come but all we realy need is more members to attend thanks ollie

any other electrical problems front lights etc you may need to replace the indicater and light stalk get yaself to a local breakers yard and change them over so it dont cost you too much money regards ollie

there should be a lip that holds the trim in place on my mrk5 it had become rotten so everytime the hood went up it lifted the trim up i glued mine down in the end just do it on a good day with the roof down

no chris i am afraid the mrk 5 trim will not be a straight swap into the mr4 cab.....but it can be done with a lot of mods

i would like to keep it dennis the colour for me is not the best that ford done lol ( only my opinion peeps) i simply brought the car to tidy up and sell on after i have used it for a couple of shows . like you said these all blues are gonna be thin on the ground m8 ragards ollie

well work has come to a stand still realy another few months have gone by and so decided next march 2010 is my target need to get the new hood on and get it tuned up and wheels fitted with the new tyres so i have put it on 4 axle stands and going to start the resto on the under side now pics to follow

thought i would give it a good clean

took it down for the mot today a few bits and bobs to do due to being sat around for a while but nothing major lol so a full years mot on it

could not resist it lol as you all no the mrk3 se allwhite is coming along nicely but the all blue came along at the right price THE CAR HAS A HALF LEATHER RECARO INTERIOR, WHICH IS VIRTUALLY UNMARKED THE ROOF IS BLUE MOHAIR AND WORKS PERFECTLY WITH A VERY SMOOTH ACTION, NO RIPS TEARS OR SPLITS. MOTOR IS IN TOP CONDITION AND LOCKING HANDLES ARE NOT DAMAGED. THE INTERIOR ROOF IS BLACK AND UNMARKED. THERE IS ALSO A GREY HOOD COVER WITH PRESS STUDS ETC FITS PERFECTLY. ELECTRIC WINDOWS &MIRRORS WORK EXCELLENT. HEATED WINDOWS FRON AND REAR NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER. THE CAR HAS LOCKWOOD WHITE DIALS INSTALLED. ENGINE BAY IS UNMARKED WITH NO WELDING EVER DONE, IT HAS JUST BEEN DETAILED AND LOOKS SPOTLESS. THE ENGINE IS EFI AND RUNS SMOOTHLY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TAPPET NOISE WHEN SHE IS COLD BUT THAT GOES AFETR A WHILE. SHE HAS PLENTY OF POWER AND HAS A K&N REPLACEMENT FILTER JUST INSTALLED, NOT A KIT YOU CANNOT SEE THE FILTER UNLESS YOU REMOVE THE FILTER BOX COVER. BOOT IS CLEAN AND DRY, WITH CARPETS IN GOOD CONDITION AND SPARE WHEEL WELL ALSO DRY WITHOUT ANY ROT. THE BODY WORK OTHERWISE IS IN GOOD CONDITION THIS ALL BLUE WILL BE UP FOR SALE OLLIE :big_wave:
