How and where do i fit 6x9's to my mk5? Any suggestions? Going to fit my sound system this weekend but don't know where to fit them. The sub and amp aint so much of a problem but the speakers i ain't got a clue. A mate has his through the rear shelf but don't fancy cutting through the metal myself! Thought that was part of the structuring?

i only have a jvc 4x40w head unit, and am running 2x 130w speakers off it. when i turn the volume up, the sound becomes distorted. at first i thought it the head unit wasn't powerful enough to power the speakers. But i know someone how has a jvc 4x45w head unit, and is running 2x512w 6x9 speakers off it with no trouble.   any ideas, because this has puzzled me
