I'm trying to understand Service Ontario business registration for starting a small business in Ontario. I know it involves choosing a business name, registering through Service Ontario, and getting a Master Business License, but I'm unclear about steps, fees, and timelines.

Can anyone explain the online registration process and whether additional permits or tax registrations are needed afterward? Also, should I register as a sole proprietorship or incorporate from the start? Any guidance or experience would be really helpful.
