Guest Ash
Hello I'm new to the forum so apologies if I sound like a complete idiot... Firstly just to say how glad I am that there is a club for those who own Escort Cabriolets, and that there are enough of them still on the road to make a club worthwhile. I have just been updating the power supply wiring for my amps in the boot on my P reg 1997 Ghia cabriolet...and have noticed there is a long multi-pin socket behind a plastic panel at the front of the passenger side trim that covers the cables running down the side of the car. It sits in the triangle shaped piece of trim that clips on to the front of the long trim that covers the cables. Does any one know what this socket is for? I have attached a photo. Also does anyone know if there is any software and appropriate hardware & leads to be able to access the engine manager computer from a laptop? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with these queries Ash
