Guest IanA Posted December 4, 2012 Share Posted December 4, 2012 Yeah- bit contentious what? My late Mk5 (my 3rd Escort cabrio) has 165k on it and I am looking for a replacement. As I don't like the Mk6 fishmouth any Mk5 is going to be old anyway and it must be a black si model for the rear discs, etc. there aren't going to be that many to choose from without rocket-ship mileages (must be <100k) at reasonable prices. The Focus cabrio looks a bit lardy and will deffo need shorter springs, stainless exhaust and 19" wheels BUT will be newer... Flame away- am I nuts???
