Guest bigup316 Posted November 15, 2012 Share Posted November 15, 2012 hello all got a new roof coming for my 1989 MK4.Think i know how to get the roof off but do i need to take rear seat out to get side panels off and where are the screws hidden on panel or does it pop off like door cards ??? gingergman Posted November 15, 2012 Share Posted November 15, 2012 you wont have to take the rear seats outs, the speaker pods have a few tiny screws holding them on and the rear card panels are held on by clips that just pop off same as the front door cards, you will also need to undo the top seatbelt bolt, 17mm to remove the card.
