Guest renegaderoger Posted September 20, 2012 Share Posted September 20, 2012 Ive just got myself some avo coilover suspension which the ad on ebay said were for a mk4 escort however i'm not convinced they are. Please can anyone put some pictures on of their front and/or back suspension if they have uprated or restored these as i want to be sure these are going to work before I give the guy feedback. gingergman Posted September 20, 2012 Share Posted September 20, 2012 cant quite see the bottoms of them but they look ok to me. you will need some lowering springs for the rear to get it lower tho and the fronts are missing the small helper springs. From previous experience they are shocking shit hence probably why someone has removed them. Too high a spring rate for road use. Adjusters that seize. Don't come with helper springs so every time you lift the car the springs will come out of the cups. These are just some of the problems. The best setup for fast road use is SPAX Krypton PSX kit I think its called with a 35mm drop. I have a this set for sale soon rears never fitted and front only on for 200 miles use.
