Guest coleser
Whoopee Doo, after many moons of my mk6 stalling from cold, and revving up to 1500-2000rpm. and pulling me along without help from my throttle foot. I`ve changed numerous sensors and tried to find an air leak to no avail, etc etc. I bit the bullet and put the car into my local injection specialist. Lo and behold. . . it now ticks over. They had to pump smoke into the system to find an air leak . The technician, (no grease monkey mechanic here, not at their prices anyway.) Said they had trouble finding it, as it was a little spigot under the intake manifold, which should of either had a pipe or a cap fitted to it, so they capped it off, and hey presto, back to normal. So, m.o.t. tomorrow, as it will hopefully pass the emissions now. Now I can get a bit of paintwork somewhere soon. Yeehaa!!
