Guest angelus2k70
hi guys bought myself a mk5b xr3i cabriolet on sunday and then another one on monday that is a non runner so i can build one from the two on the running one which is going to be my daily car for a while i have developed a small problem of the drivers side bank of indicators geting stuck permanantly on i have changed the stalks and relay over from the other one and even with them disconnected and the fuse pulled out the indicators remain permanantly lit, i have also checked all the bulb holders and removed the bulbs but to no avail the passenger side indicators are working normally any ideas would be great as i am running out of them
gingergman
could well be a fusebox problem, they always go bonkers on the mk5,
Guest angelus2k70
Cheers mate il get it checked out, changing it is a bit beyond my limitations but at least if I know what it is I can eliminate fault finding from my repair bill
Guest angelus2k70
absolutly spot on advice mate pulled the fusebox from the green one and swapped it out and its all sorted now also discovered a broken wire on the green car whilst rooting around so when i can im going to see if that gets the car running
