not the first c reg mk4 ive seen so could be a very early mk4 its got the mk4 dash aswell so does look right to me

though the ad says it comes tax exempt next year it doesn't as its no longer a rolling date. the car needs to be pre 73 to be tax exempt

ok cheers im in process of trying to get my hands on a cabby also had a look at this on ebay but i may be inheriting a problem with this one heres a link

translates to..... oil pump is fecked and ive been ragging the a*se of it and its going to need an engine rebuild...

would say its a mk4 as the rear tow eye is on spare wheel well mk3 were through rear valance on O/S/R if i remember rightly

cant see the car as ebay dont work at work but its prob just had a mk4 front put on it, quite commen really, lots about, plus the dashes fit aswell.

 

dont buy one with fooked oil pressure lol

 

Your better buying one with a dud lump that you are poor body work, the cost of an engine is way less that bringing worn and shot panels back to life..

 

And yep thats deffo a mk4 cab, 1985 C reg was the first offical reg date.

barry the second cab was 1 i turboed a few years ago for a friend who lived around the corner and a member of the club was a nice cab back then before it got abused and stolen.
