hi all

i had a roof fitted to my cabby some time ago but the guy fitting it said the frame was bent - i'm not convinced!!

is there anyone in the Hull area that wouldn't mind giving me a hand taking it off and fitting the correct way

someone here did offer but i've lost the number

i'm looking at taking it for an MOT in the next couple of week's and would like to make sure i'm not wasting my time IF the frame is actually bent

thanks

Alex

hi guys

the roof does not quite sit properly and if i remember correctly it leaks above the passenger door

i suppose i just wanted to have a fully functioning car once the mot was done rather than get an mot and then have to wait further to get the roof sorted

i've been told the roof was not put on properly, ie slowly tighted at each location whilst the roof was up - instead it was fitted with the roof down and tighted at each location

any futher help appreciated

thanks

Alex

losen the bolts off while roof is up pull it tight to where it dont meet properley and then retighten it up you shouldnt need to take the roof off to do it there are 3 bolts on each side behind the cards next to the back seats
