Guest annie Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 Hi all I drew a blank at my local ford so wondered if you could help. I read on the site about getting the oil from ford but when I went there to get the oil for the pump they said I wouldnt want to fill it myself. Truth is the owners handbook doesnt seem to give an instruction on how/where to refill the oil so hoped you guys could advise. I came away without the oil from there anyway. Am I right in thinking that if the pump level is on min you really dont want to use the electric pump to put the roof down so I am stuck if it ever stops raining. The folk i brought the car from said the o ring needed replacing which they said they would do but it would appear a leak still exists. Would the forum kit for replacing the plastic ratchet thing fix this problem or is it just for the motor whirring?
