Hello, Yesterday I posted this question but I've just come across your comment from 10 years ago, do you think the same would work for me? Thank you. Transmission Fluid for Electric Roof no longer exists, what can I use instead? Kim Booth posted a topic in Roof Problems I have a 1987 Escort Cabriolet Ghia which needs me top up the transmission fluid for the electric roof to operate. The manual tells me I need to use part number 1661100 however that part number no longer exists, and Ford's parts department cannot suggest any other fluid I can use instead.
