my ford escort cabriolet has a starting problem it starts up first turn and as soon as you hit the accelerator it cuts out but it restarts ok it ticks over fine but just keeps stalling as you take your foot off the accelerator then after 15 minutes it goes ok

my ford escort cabriolet has a starting problem it starts up first turn and as soon as you hit the accelerator it misfires then cuts out but it restarts ok .it ticks over ok .but doesnt cut out until the the engine has been running for 15 minutes then its fine can anyone advise me
