  8. Not a hard conversion if you know what you are doing, seen a few with this engine but more common is a 1.8 Zetec Paul

  10. I know in 1989 they were def Dunlops still got my original wheels and tyres in the garage, very cracked now tho
  11. Sounds like it could be worn lower engine mounts, have you ever had these changed? Paul
  12. They are no longer available from Ford and most of them that you find second hand are going to be in the same condition as yours. I had mine stripped and powder coated a few years back with some new rubber mounts fitted but i know some members are getting stainless ones or satin black ones from AS but not cheap at £125.00 each. http://www.autospeci...roduct-869.html

  15. Yes we were out of the way a little, but plenty of room and on grass to which was nice
  16. Open the relay up and look for dry joints, or go over each joint with fresh solder Paul
  17. Just unplug the plug from the sensor and put a piece of wire across the 2 terminials in the plug. Make sure the ignition is switched on. If youe rear reversing lights come on then you know its the sensor in the gearbox. Very easy to replace. Paul

Just a quick update for members that are camping:- problems for fordfair no access from whittlebury campsite .must use the main entrance no sneaking in the quick way this year) Traffic plan update. Due to unforeseen circumstances the link road between Whittlebury Park campsite and Silverstone Circuit will be closed this weekend. For those of you entering the venue via Whittlebury Park please be advised to use the main entrance via the A43.
