Guest davers Posted November 29, 2005 Share Posted November 29, 2005 could anyone give me a rough idea of respray costs my car has a few rust spots but a friend who works in a bodyshop is prepared to prep the car for me,however his boss says they are too busy to allow him to do me a respray on the cheap. i was just wondering what kind of price id be looking at ,and wether or not they charge more for a colour change...dont want to get ripped off when i go looking for quotes. cheers dave Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest vtiman Posted November 29, 2005 Share Posted November 29, 2005 really shouldnt be more than 3oo quid to apply paint to a ready prepped car,most of the graft is in the prepping,stripping lights windows etc,masking and re-assembling,know theres a guy around here who is one of the better painters judging by some of the work i have seen him do,takes 200 per car off my mates and they do the prep work Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
