LEEscortXR3i
Hi. I have bought an original cassette player (the ECU2 I believe?) and the equaliser unit but I'm struggling to locate some wiring for them. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I've put pictures of my units below. Is there a power cable for both units, or does one get a feed from the other via the round link cable? Cheers, Lee
twin--turbo
the two big pins on the amp are the power, next to that are standard pin+spade speaker outputs, the interlink is the din cable which i think cotrols the amp remote power on
LEEscortXR3i
Thanks twin turbo. I've just ordered an 8 pin din cable to connect the units together. How about that horizontal row of terminals on the cassette player itself under the din socket - do you know what each pin is for please? I'm struggling to find one of these connectors so may need to use individual spade connectors instead. Cheers, Lee
Paul Grainger
The two big terminals are the supply and earth. The outer pin is earth and the other one is the yellow switched live. The smaller ones are the permenent live and the electric aerial output but I can't remember which one is which. Try powering it up and seeing which small one goes live as this will be the aerial one. The display will be blank until you get your permenent feed on. Cheers
