nayfepeel
Hey guys, Unfortunately my mum passed away recently, but sat on her drive was an M Reg cab in not bad nick! Looking to completely transform it into a cossie cabriolet over the summer! Any hints and tips greatly appreciated!!! Cheers, Nayfe
Ian71
Don't bother,it will never be worth any money, you would be better off restoring the cab to factory spec, won't be to many of em left soon.
welshlad
i agree, and it would be cheaper buying one already done like that
Vincygav
I agree with the others on this. It would be hard to get all the drive train etc and expensive now to change it into a cossie cab. Better of restoring it to standard.
lincolncity
Hi, sorry to hear about your mum. It is your car and you are entitled to do as you want however I agree with the others. It would be far better to restore standard, a few subtle mods can be okay but with the price of Cosworth replica parts it's not worth it and you'd need to store the original bits as one day you will want it standard we all do. Good lick with whatever you decide but a standard Mk5b is already a rare machine and really coming into its own now. All the best
