Paulas
Hi all I have recently bought a mk6 and the brake pedel is very firm and takes a lot of effort, is this normal? and if so is there an upgrade I can do so there is less effort? Thank you
Stephen Bearded Minky Hill
I had a hard pedal on my mk2 fiesta. Was told the calipers were the problem.

Paul Grainger
Test the servo is working. Pump the brake pedal so it is hard and then press it and hold whilst starting the engine. When the engine starts the pedal should go down a bit. This shows that the servo is doing its job. If not then it could be a servo fault or a vacuum supply problem.
