Guest Iain MacTaggart
Hi allI had quite a few Fords in my youth and the XR3s being the ones that stood out. One in particular was a black 1990 XR3I Cab. I had this car for a few years but had to sell to save up for a mortgage. Having done a recent MOT check found out she is still alive! I would love to track down the owners to see what she looks like now and even the possibility of trying to purchase her back :-) Does anyone on here recognize the number plate or can offer any advice on tracking the owner? The DVLA website says you can pay a small fee to find the information but this looks to be only for parking tickets etc. Many thanksIain

gingergman
you can contact the dvla, it will only cost £2.50 to find out its current owner, you do need a valid reason though, although you could probably put anything down. Just lie . The only thing to be cautious of though is that if you contact the owner after getting the details from the dvla and the owner doesn't like the fact there details have been given out you could be fined.
