Ian71
Well, would say you are about right. If it's a dealer they can afford to sit on an overpriced car, private sellers ,depends if they want to sell. Classic car prices are high at present ,and to be honest I don't think most of us actually know what is a realistic figure anymore. I watch Cars on eBay and have noticed that those on for big money seem to be on there for a very long time. Limited editions like se500 will always be more desirable,so expect to have to pay top dollar. Good luck regards Ian.

allblue
These cars are not numbered so there will be no unique number to it. 4000+ were made altogether. How much one is worth is really down to condition and how well it has been looked after. There was a 35K mile all blue at auction no long back, but the condition was awful for such a low mileage car. Clearly had ben neglected. A dealer brought it for 6K thou and the car was relisted one bay soon after. 6K for a 70K mile cabriolet IMHO is too much. I would have thought 3.5K max. 6K is what I would pay for a very low mileage example (<30K miles), that has been exceptionally looked after, with all original panels, etc.

gingergman
None of them are numbered, if someone says there's is, there lying or been lied to by the previous owner lol. There's more than 500 of them, people jump on the band wagon and say there rare, only 500 etc, both wrong! Still a nice model to have though. A realistic price is between 2-3k, above 3k for a seriously tidy one. Plenty advertised for silly money, none sell though!

Guest MJWard
Does anyone know what the MK4 Tennis editions are worth now? I believe these were only manufactured for a limited time (about 2 months if I remember correctly) and had rs kit, half leather recaros, mini Cosworth lattice alloys and were all finished in white with white power hood. Seen one locally that needs a little work for £2k (probably haggle down to £1750 I'm thinking). Fair price? Car is running, just out of mot, and mostly original. Ian71
I have a tennis, I don't think anyone knows how many were actually built, most seem to be late F reg or early G mine was reg sept 1989. Cars came with no body kit, but you could probably had that fitted as an extra. Half leather recaros with Zolda fabric, cosworth style lattice 14" wheels and electric roof and Ariel all come as standard. All cars were white with white roof and cover and a thin green stripe down the sides of the body. As for prices, depends on condition,a good one with good history may be 3-4K that's private sale,if it's a classic dealer could be double that. Ian71
If you are interested there was a nice two tone cab selling on eBay ,the girl was selling for her uncle and put a post on here asking what to sell it for. It had half leather with low miles and one owner.
