Guest Joe35
Cheers, another question, if the icv is loose could that be the prob?
welshlad
whats the problem, which one have you got? the one on the strut or the other one? doesnt really make a difference. carb cleaner is the best thing to use to clean it out if your thinking about taking it off/apart (easy job)

Guest Joe35
Your not wrong I was looking at something completely different under the trottle housing,I read up and the MFI dosent have one, so could the prob be the mixture of fuel and air so just a air leak? Keith Whitbread
If it helps, I had a problem with my MK5, kept stalling and stopping. There was a carbon build up in the inlet manifold that blocked part of the butterfly. The problems was due to a leaking value, ended up in a complete engine rebuild? Guest Joe35
It doesn't want to be carbon build up can't afford a rebuild, there an easy way of checking that out?
