Guest fordescort1
My 1990 xr3i seems a little high on the front end. Previous owner said it had new springs about a year ago. Could they be for a standard escort??? Or could there be another problem
allblue
most likely, Reminds me when I had mine done, the motor factor supplied incorrect rear springs. Made my car look like a drag racer.
Ian71
If you are think of getting a complete set of lowering springs all round, my advise is dont go any lower than -25mm it may look cool to slam it to the ground but its a nightmare on rough uneven roads, speed bumps and generally a realy hard bumpy ride. My cab runs standard but my rs turbo runs -25 when i bought it it ran -60 it was awful.
Guest escott1973i
the back of my mk4 is like that but i got estate spring because of speed bumps would like mine high at front thou i think its more the hard /softness of the spring that makes me ground out on the humps. I dont know what the roads like by you but you have many speed bumps out of interest
