Guest xr3idan Posted October 4, 2013 Share Posted October 4, 2013 HI ALL.# first of all i have a 1987 mk4 mfi xr3i cab, ive recently replaced one of my abs belts because when i got the car nearly a year ago the abs light was on, and as its coming up 2 mot i thought id get it done. my problem my abs light wont go out!!!! and i dont know why. also i dont know if this affects anything but someone has disconnected the handbrake warning switch from the brake reservoir and when a reconnect it the handbrake light stays on, but if i wiggle that same wire it flashes, please can someone shed some light on this please as im gonna go insane, i assumed that my problem was the belts, obvs not... thanks in advance for any advice dan.
