Hi

Can anyone help me? I have a mk4 cab and for some reason the rear drivers side light and dash light are no longer working, its only been the past few days it has happened, i have changed the rear bulb but the thing is the brake light still works and when i indicate the lights come on on the dash and all other lights like battery light etc work, i have looked at the fuses under the bonnet and they seem fine, its just the speedo, rev counter, petrol gauge and water temp lights that wont work, plus the rear drivers light, like i said the brake light works still but not the main light.

Any help will be much appreciated as electrics really arent my strong point.

Stally,

Probably fixed this by now (buts its been ages since I've been on here) and I'm probably a mile away here but check the bulbs in the cluster are all correct. I know if there's a problem with the earth on the bulbs then it causes all sorts of weirdness at the dash. Just because the bulb goes in doesn't mean its the correct one as I've seen dual circuit bulbs (stop and tail) used, the pins fit but the earth is all wrong.

Hi stally check the front driverside side light to see if its working ..... if not check the fuse .... the front side light bulb holder was common for earthing out and blowing the fuse ..... mine used to put dash lights out ... changed front bulb holder problem solved
