Check the wheel bearing as the when you turn it will put more or less pressure on one side depending on which way you are turning. The fact you are getting a grinding sounds indicates bearing over bottom ball joint. What is the steering like? Do ou have any play? escortrs2000.co.uk Posted April 22, 2013 Share Posted April 22, 2013 I'm going to say CV joint and wheel bearing. Remove the hub yourself, take it to a garage and get a new bearing fitted.
