well had a couple of hrs today due to getting finished at work

 

put all the boot trim back

well nice day today so sorted garage out been to the tip got rid of old cut offs off the car decided to have a move around for the next part of project.

 

Got a tank coming off avril(thank u sexy xx)

 

stripped pump carrier to paint then fit new pump

moved her over to otherside of garage to get in under dash i'm gonna take the old alarm off & start a fresh

Best part of the day was even the mrs said" it looks like a car now not a piece of junk" RESULT :smile:

well had the gut from the body shop round today to give me a price.

 

i'm taking roof off,lights out, interior out,wipers off etc.

 

he's doing body prep n bodge round arch,removing doors,bonnet,boot. obviously painting wing mirrors,bumpers n body kit all painted off the car so door shuts will be done aswell.

 

Around £750 cash it will be dry polished aswell.Is that a good price?

 

he recons 10 days work which i think is bloody good he'll have it for 4 wks to drop on n off it.

 

so just gotta start saving

yes saw some of the stuff hes got in . really good work he's priced it as hoping i will push more his way looks like hes got a mk2 to do if the jobs good

got pump holder painted ready for the new pump.

 

just waiting on petrol tank off avril to come next week so i can hopefully get here running over xmas

£750 does sound alright but as Stu said it depends on the finished result......hope it does turn out alright for you tho :smile:

fed up of new year already looks like a delay in cab respray n no going to holland in august.

 

gonna go in garage to potter see if i can get this tank fitted

not long now til i get her fired up. can anyone help there are 2x pipes coming down the fuel filler neck 1 has a cone on the end the other doesn't .

 

where do these go? cant seem to figure out where the book doesn't show it.

the one with the cone on the end doesnt connect to anything, it just goes round the tank, the other thin black pipe goes onto the top of the tank, theres a tiny metal tube that it sticks onto, if you havent put that one on already then you will need to take the tank out again.

as it didn't have a tank in to take out didn't have a clue

well getting excited.

 

shes had new fuel filter , plugs fitted tonite.

new cam belt, fan belt & air filter getting delivered tomorrow.

 

I hope i can get her running at the weekend

 

she was last run in 2006.

 

think i'll have to put camera on to video mode :smile:

well got her turning over

 

got her to fire up but not run as of yet.

had to remove alarm got no ignition lights but she fired up ?????
