i think there called microwave sensor alarms or something to use on soft tops, so if you leave the roof down and someone sticks there arm in or someone breaks in via the roof the alarm still goes off, as shaun said, try clifford or toad, i personally think there the better ones.

I got a cobra alarm off ebay, with microwave sensors for £205 inc fitting, That was alarm, immobiliser and central locking. Took them about 2 hrs to fit (they we're doing my wifes saab too). Without microwaves its only £165 fitted. Just means you cant arm the system with the roof down, Hence why I paid the extra

Thats not a bad price at all ill have a look for thats tx

Yeah its pretty good. Just note its not a thatchem approved alarm, so no insurance discounts. but it does the job. Also, you have to request a microwave sensor if you require one, for some reason they dont have them on Ebay :S

Heres the Fleabay number 160416357954

i've got a toad alarm/imobilizer which ive had no problems with

same here, payed around £115 fully fitted, didn't have the microwave sensors though, and with toads, you can disable them, but leave the doors/bonnet/boot and the imobilizer active
