Guest tadg
hi all, can anyone tell me if theres any diffance between a 88spec spotlight backet and a 90spec bracket as i have just tried to fit a 90 spec to an 88 spec car and they dont fit, ie they dont pass the bumper, on my 90 spec car the bumper fits nice and close to the front pannel, but on my 88 spec car the bumper is a lot futher away from the front pannel, but the 88spec bumper dose not seem to be bent or a miss fit and all lines up with the wings and bonnet etc, hope you can all make sence of this cheers tadg

iansoutham
There is a pre and post 1989 spec. The horizontal bracket is placed slightly different on the late ones. The backing reinforcement plate is identical though. You can still buy the pre 1989-spec ones from Ford IIRC, but the later ones are NLA. Guest ben smith
ok ideal cos my brackets seem to be very short arms on them so will have a look now as i have an 87 cab so will see now
