Guest bossturbo
Hi All, I have an 84 Escort 1.6 cabriolet, but my rear suspension is killing my tyres, as they have an abnormal consumption on the outside of the tyre. I have specific Escort Motorcraft Gas Shock Absorbers, with the original springs. Is it possible to re-adjust the rear suspension/alignment? How can I avoid this strange consumption of the tyres? Thanks in advance for your answers! Cheers Boss Turbo

Guest bossturbo
i would replace the bushes in rear also have you hit a curb? and you may have bent a rear tie bar ...... also only use ford ones if you replace them Hi Tony, Thanks for the feedback. I will try to replace the bushes... I have not hit any curb.... in fact the tyres outside consumption is the same on Left and Right wheel. I think this started to happen when I replaced the shock absorbers (but I have used original Motorcraft parts) Thanks, Bossturbo
