Guest iaincb
thanks for that. so does anybody know if i can polish them up and how? the only finish i can describe how i mean is like bmw e46 m3 wheels rather than a mirror like chrome finish (unless they are chrome)

Guest tacha_maree
a m8 had escos rims on his cab, his drive shafts didnt last very long. they did look nice but id rather have mondeo gti rims they look very similar and dont give you any problems. we have a mondeo gti as a spare wheel for our cos theyre just as nice looking. just my oppinion as for polishing...im not a wheel expert but i think it woulf be very difficult without getting them chromed to get a polished finish, the contours on the spokes and the dish of the rim will make it difficult for any polishing procedure. good luck with it, if u can get polished escos rims on your cab youd certainly make alot of people envious. Guest jay
hiya i know all about this had plenty of sets, and have a brand new set sat here in the boxes ready to do onto my d plate cabby once rebuilt. you will need 205/40/16 tyres dont get 195,s there too dangerous!! (seen somebody with them stretched on) nutters! also you need different wheel bolts with the larger colars! you can get these from speedshack. suspension.. i would strongly recommend coilovers as you can adjust the height to suit, you can get away with normal adjustables i.e koni,s etc but depends wot springs your using, too low and they catch the arches. as for polishing it can be done, youl just have to find a metal polishers that will take the job on, problem is how you going to get the centre caps to match? why dont you have them chrome plated,as the caps can be done too theres a website that does them il try finding it for you.. heres a pic of my old one i re-built... had mine painted with a slight blue pearl colour looked gorgeous.. if you want more pics just ask..
