Guest RobD
Hi all, Simple question really... I'm told the easiest and cheapest brake upgrade to make to my MK4 cab is RST brakes and disks. Gormless question incoming... lol What is the difference between the standard calipers and disks and the RST ones and also is it a direct replacement, ie no modifications just a case of removing my old ones and fitting the the RST ones? Any (non sarcastic) answers would be appreciated. Hehe
Admin Paul Posted November 1, 2007 Admin Share Posted November 1, 2007 The discs and calipers on a RS Turbo are bigger in diameter, hense more surface in contact with the pads. They will bolt straight on mate, i have a brand new pair of front RS Turbo calipers c/w brand new EBC discs and Pads if you are intrested. They will bolt directly in place of the standard ones. I went down the route of RS Turbo but not even used them and changed my mind going to go with Brembo or something. Paul
