Hey guys, just picked up an XR3i cab (1.6 cvh mfi) - but bottom end went on the way home to the Isle of Wight. I think I have an easy solution to a fix, I have located a 1.6 CVH carb engine, out an '89 escort estate. In theory, could I swap the MFI bits over onto the new engine, or would I need to swap the head over? Is this a feasible solution, or do I just rebuild the original engine? Bit of a summer project - built a lambretta SX200 cutdown over winter! Thanks Will
