  1. Good Evening. I have been offered a cabriolet, Registered 29/10/92, K Reg with a 1392 cc engine Its not been on the road since 2010, kept under a car cover, has flat tyres etc. I am expecting the worst!! Are they worth taking on to restore? We do restore big farinas and Rovers but i don't think this will have nowhere as much vale when recommissioned? I think its going just above scrap valve, owner deceased and family just want it out of the way. Should i buy it? Any advice appreciated David
  2. Good morning all, a friend has pulled a 1991 cabriolet out of his garage after 15 years, i am helping to get it back on the road. The fuel tank is beyond re using (really badly rusted) so we need one of those. The fuel pump and sender unit are too far gone, same again, need those and the fuel pipe work is perished. Where do we go for the parts please? The engine runs well using a petrol can linked up so we have just got to get the fuel tank and parts sorted and we can get her moving under her own steam. I myself know very little about these cars, its a 1991, registered 24/9/91 efi, apparently a MK5? Would the registration help source the parts? Any help will really be appreciated. He bought the car when he was in his 20's and now retired and wants to get it back on the road, body wise its really good so well worth saving. David
