Ollie reacted to Paul Grainger in Problem with windows when close the door
Hi. Take the door trim off and have a look. The bottom of the window runner is secured to the door frame near the bottom and is adjustable. Hopefully it may just be the securing screw come out.
Cheers
Paul

Ollie got a reaction from DiscoDan in Ohsoretro show down @ margate
Well peeps that was the last show of the season for most of us :>(
Where has this year gone . i no i haven't done most of the shows this year due to other commitments
was a great turnout considering it was pretty much as far Kent as you can get for most attending . the original plan of the convoy didn't go quite to plan either as 1 member got lost and another waited at the wrong services partly me to blame :>( we got there in the end lol
The show itself was very good with some very strange and beautiful cars on show .. you had to be there to see some of them . i think every one who was there for the day had a great time because each and every one of them cars holds memory's in some way or another :>)
we will be going back next year and hopefully the other two shows wont clash :>(
For those that attended please add your photos to the gallery for all to see.. couple of the club stand below
Thanks ollie

Ollie got a reaction from DiscoDan in Mk6 Calypso
well i brought the mk6 back in the garage to make a start after trying everything to get the front wheels off . i did wanna try and save them after trying everything to remove the seized nuts . i managed to round 1 off on the nearside and 3 off on the offside
had top of the range nut guns /air guns and special nut removal tools and 3 different people that thought they may be able to remove them :>)
well in the end good old fashion hole cutter and big hammer done the trick
wheels are finally off and fit for the scrap man :>( had sold them a few months ago for £100 aswell lol
onwards an upwards got a set of rs15s to o on them as a rolling project just for the pre mot to see how bad it really is before i start any work on it
will keep you all updated

Ollie reacted to Himanshu in Best Penetrant Spray.
OK, so an update I managed to get a hold of a 5L can of Kano Labs Aerokroil. It cost £35 shipping £55 and HMRC charged £40 for import and VAT duties, (thieves)! Parcel force held up the shipment for 3 weeks. It took 2 days for the USA end to send it and took 3 weeks from Stanstead Airport to Coventry Customs!
But this is by far the best read made stuff! I did email a company in the USA called Maltby Chemicals who produce but they couldn't even be bothered to reply!

Ollie got a reaction from DiscoDan in Event: Simply Ford
Hi all received this email regarding the club stand at simply ford
I will print some club labels to give out at the car park .
so far we have 13 attending if you would like to print your own then send me a pm and I will send via email as I cant attach on this post
regards Ollie
Thank you for booking in as a club for our Simply Ford event on Sunday 30th April. It is going to be a very busy event, with more club cars booked in for this year than ever before so we would appreciate any help you can give us to make the event run as smoothly as possible.
Final Numbers
Please could you update us with your final numbers for your club as soon as possible so we can work on and finalise the club layout.
Club Arrivals
Please use our Main Museum Entrance off the B3056 first thing. This entrance will be open from 8am for club arrivals - we will not be opening the entrance gate into the complex until 8am. Any early arrivals will be directed into one of our visitor car parks to wait until opening at 8am.
Only Trade vehicles will be allowed access prior to 8am.
This entrance will then operate as a club and general entrance from 9am.
Please Note: The Attraction, including the museum does not open until 10am.
Our additional Entrance off the B3054 will be signed as “Simply Ford Additional Entrance” and will be open from 9am-11am only and operate as a club and general entrance. If you arrive at this entrance before 9am or after 11am you will be directed round to the main entrance as there is nowhere to wait here.
Club Labels
To help us identify each club and direct vehicles to the correct club location it would be a great help for every vehicle that will be on your club stand to print off in A4 the attached club label and place this in their windscreen on arrival.
Gazebo’s
Please can we remind you that if your club stand is in the complex side (this is the hard standing arena and surrounding grass areas) you will not be able to put gazebo’s up within your club stands. We do ask for any clubs that wish to bring gazebo’s to let us know in advance and you will be located in the event fields.
Catering
The outside catering units will be open from 8am to cater for club arrivals. The Brabazon restaurant will only be open for refreshments from a slightly later time of approx. 8.30am.
Tickets
For those that are yet to buy their tickets - We do ask that each vehicle makes their own order for the persons in their vehicle when purchasing online. As only 1 e-ticket is generated per order all members are covered on that ticket and if you get separated on arrival it's not very easy to tie all members up when on the same e-ticket.
If anyone needs to make a bulk order you can do this over the phone via 01590 614614 and we can post out individual tickets to the organiser.
Tickets will be available on the day at £10 per adult and £5 per child when in a Ford vehicle.
We are able to take card payments on the day but it is not 100% reliable so do ask for people to pay for entrance tickets as cash where possible.
We hope you enjoy this year’s Simply Ford event and thank you in advance for all your help.
If you have any questions then don’t hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
The Beaulieu Events Team

Ollie reacted to Ian71 in Show Time
Yea sure, you have to be a fully paid up member for insurance reasons (i.e flag blows over and lands on your car) a lot of clubs dont have insurance but i dont think your insurance would pay out. Membership is approx £18-£20 per year, good value, then if there are still tickets available you can book as many shows as you like. What area of the country you from m8 ?

Ollie reacted to StuDaBear in Stu's Mk4 Summer Svp Cabrio
Its mapped now, results are superb, it goes like a rocket, estimated 250-260bhp, rolling rd to confirm. Running just over a bar of boost, its awesome, plant it in 5th at 70mph and it still pulls you back in your seat, on a private rd of course. We tried 18psi of boost but the clutch was reluctant to hold, so I backed it off, more power would need a clutch that costs near £400, it would be heavy too, so it will have to do as is.
Bad point of the day is it feels like the offside outer cv joint is seizing/dying, stiff to turn to the right and knock/clunk when taking up drive.
So I've ordered a couple of replacements, might as well change the pair.

Ollie reacted to allblue in Front Fog Wiring Help
Assuming you are referring to the original ford spotlights, your mk4 should already have the fog light wiring, as it was standard spec.
Check for a pair of loose wires by the radiator.
Other than the lamps you will need the suitable brackets too.
