Ian71
So you won't be recommending them to cabriolet club members then.

StuDaBear
I had a quote today for £400 for a new mowhair hood fully fitted, I think I will be treating the old girl to a new hood and I think I even have a buyer for mine, which isn't ripped just looks patchy. The guy is in Blackpool and has been going for absolute years, also well into his Fords.

Guest Taylrl
Im going to need a new roof but not just the material. The handle on the passenger side has completely sheared off meaning I can't event close it properly. Any one have any ideas where the hell I might be able to get one of those from? gingergman
you can replace just the handles on them, two screws hold them in place, the handles are the same on all the range mk3-mk7, think rover are also the same! plenty on ebay last time i looked
Himanshu
Rover handles are the same, as Ginger Boy rightly pointed out.
zygott
just had mine done by Advanced Car Trimmers Blackpool. £460 fitted for a new mohair with 3 new cables.:
zygott
new roof comes lower over rubbers round windows to help reduce chances of leaks with old rubbers
Guest username
That's not a bad price at all, if our budget had stretched that far it'd have been a far less stressful solution to fitting the German Ebay roof myself! The fit & quality was great from there (verdeckprofi.de I think they're called) but I'm not sure the sweat and hassle was worth the 200 quid saving over a mohair one fitted by those in the know! (I even had to make my own tension cables from stage rigging gear money was that tight!) Can't wait for spring now when we can actually start exercising those roof catches again
