Hi all, First post and I have yet to figure out how to attach a photo file. I have a 1984 XR3i Cabriolet which I purchased new from Taw Motors in Barnstaple while posted in the UK from New Zealand. Shipped it back to NZ in 1986 and it has been used continuously except for about six years while again overseas. Have done 98,000 Km and still in original condition with no rust. Have kept a log of every trip and work or servicing undertaken. Still all original but for a stainless exhaust system soon after I returned to NZ. Has been a reliable runner but for one broken cam belt. A recent development seems to be a failed electric fuel pump after a 100Km day out with the roof down, but I have yet to fully confirm that (a squeaky sound from the vicinity of fuel tank while stopped, accompanied by rough running and then stopped). Lots of interesting projects on the site. Cheers Ian Gore
