I own a MK5 ('94) Cabbie and when I bought it the boot carpet was ripped off the walls and just left in the boot. It was damp, a bit mouldy and absolutely filthy. It went straight in the bin (Its a shame the state some of these have been left to get into!). Anyway, having deep cleaned the boot compartment it is ready for new carpet. I'm considering buying some decent quality off cuts and fitting it myself but I need/would like to know, what it looked like before - especially around the roof pump.
