Guest Ike
So...everything works perfectly in the cabriolet we've recently purchased..except the radio, electric aerial and cigarette lighter. It can't be a fuse as my clocks still working and they should be on the same circuit, so aside from pulling the dash off and checking the looms can anyone suggest where to start? Ps I've a CD multi changer in the boot that also doesn't boot up on start but I'm presuming that it's because its linked to the radio? Any helps welcome
RScab
Some Mk5 onwards models had fuse box problems if I recall Worth checking you have live @ the fuse then check you have a none broken supply from the other side of the fuse to the radio
Guest Ike
I'll have to get her looked at properly. Dont have the kit to measure if its live or not, thanks for the advice though, that's definitely something I'll watch out for in the future! The missus just mentioned that the light behind the aircon temp dial has a tendency to flicker too...must be a loose set of wires off the fuse box or something.
