Guest Glenn65 Posted March 29, 2015 Share Posted March 29, 2015 Here's a question. the temperature stays down when moving, but if sitting still starts to rise ok. Goes back down if you move off. Ian71 Posted March 29, 2015 Share Posted March 29, 2015 Thats normal glen for a cvh engine,they do run hot when standing still,and when you are moving cool air through the rad cools it down again. I have fitted twin fans to my two cars one off the thermostat and one off a switch in the car which i can control in atraffic jam before the engine gets to hot. I may try a higher degree thermostat, recon the one I've got in is an 88' one.
