Guest Studdyy Posted September 27, 2014 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Hello all!I'm Dan, 22 and living in Norfolk.I've recently bought my first project Ford after several years of owning and tinkering with classic Mini's.The car i've bought is a 1986 Mk4 XR3i cabriolet. It's been in storage for the past 10 years as the previous owner started to restore it but got sidetracked with other projects. Thankfully, he had done all the welding that needed doing, replaced what needed replacing and rebuilt the engine.So it's now come into my possession, all I needed to do it prep it, paint it and put it back together, but I'm going to add my personal touch to it. I've bought some original alloys to replace the RS Turbo wheels it came with, I found a mohair hood to replace the vinyl one and i'm now looking for a new interior for it.Here's a picture of it when I bought it.I hope to meet some of you in the future when the car gets done and when I start to attend shows.Dan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
