Work on the mk5 been a bit slower than i hoped. Bonnet, boot lid, bumpers and side skirts all repainted ready to go back on.Mark (skittles) and his dad fitted a replacement roof pump and got the roof working. Have sanded the bad areas of the car down ready to weld.Next big job up on the ramp, new brake system, pipes, disks pads calipers and new rears.Yellow mk6 collected at weekend as a donor for interior (if it fits) poss engine and gearbox, mondeo 16" wheels and other bits and bobs. Will updated better pics when out of garage.

As you can see progress has been slow due to other commitments, body kit fitted, drivers side mk6 seat in place, passenger side still gotta be welded in (changing these over is a long job) still to do, roof wont shut by 20mm, gonna have to get a new one, front brakes gotta be done, exhaust, interior and some electrics (skittles & dad) when time. Decided to run the cvh engine and perhaps get the zetec done over the winter.

Amazing 24 hours, having been given 8 weeks to vacate my rented lock up at the rear of local ford dealer as they are shutting down, the mechanics have done 24 hours of work on the mk5. It now has an mot,and all the silly bits that may have taken weeks have been done in a day. Besides a good. Clean and a few bits of trim its almost ready to go back on the road after 7 years. Pics to follow.
