sorry about the pics, I will find them soon, the mrs has been moving things round on the pc.

So, whats been happening, not much to be fair, summer has seen me very busy with work and holidays and a couple of festivals.

But.... I have been closely watching the bay again looking for an rst as a donor, and well, I came across this in Bradford and collected it today.

Lots of goodies on it I can use, a fair few bits I can sell on and whats left I can move on to the scrap man.

I was going to put it on the road and carry on with the resto of Scabby, but the time, effort and cash needed, its just not going to happen,

Pics.

Its a shame really to use the RS as a doner but its too late, I went inside to make a cuppa, came out and my mate had cut a reasonable size side section out to use as a repair panel, if I could I'd save both but so much time and efforts gone into making Scabby solid, its the one going back on the road. Havent lifted the carpet in the RS yet but I'm guessing that by the state of the seats and runners it may be for the best that it gives its life to save another.

No idea on the gold colour code/name, sorry.

No pics of roof coming off sadly, mostly done by a friend who said he'd done one before, I'm sure theres a tutorial on here somewhere, but I do remember there being a wire to tension it in place? someone should be able to help.

progress to date, loads more sanding, bit more sanding, and then some more sanding.

I have sourced a genuine S1 arch and skirt kit which will be going on :-)

plenty of progress today but for some reason the forum tools aren't allowing me to paste img tags from my photobucket so i'll try again tomorrow.

both rear 1/4 panels and rear panels have had more filling and sanding, mostly as good as it will get, arches need more attn., but have given it a good coat of etch primer and I'm mighty pleased with the results so far. theres a pic or two over on the clubs fb page.

not a lot gone on recently other than the gold cab has been stripped and cut in two, now most probably coke tins or something. And my garage looks like a bombs gone off with the left overs laying on the floor.

5L of Cellulose Ford Frozen White turned up today :-)
