Guest eve1973 Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Hi, I have a Escort XR3i cabriolet 1992 I have tried to open the bonnet on my car, but the cable is loose so has either snapped or come unclipped. I have read on forums about going under the car and releasing it that way, but I've gone under mine and you can't get to it as the part where the ford badge is, goes right near the radiator so can't get anything up to push on the latch. I can see where the latch is, that comes out when u pull the release cable through the gap under the bonnet, is it this part I have to move? If so is it left, right, up or down?
