Guest Pepsionline
Hi all my power roof has a crack in the plastic reservoir. Can anyone tell me where I can get a new one or the part number. It is the part of the power roof motor that you can see the hydrolic fluid through. Or if you have one I would be happy to buy the plastic reservoir from you Many Thanks Paul

Vincygav
I noticed that VW seems to do a replacement for this for the Golf. mine is cracked and wondering if I should buy this. It is Volkswagen part number repair set oil container 8G0898101 Seen on an American store http://www.ecstuning.com/ES444991/PriceAlert/ Also a post on it on a Golf forum at http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?95913-cabriolet-roof-pump-reservoir If VW are selling them, I am surprise Ford is not selling them, or are they? Calypso Cab
I just solved this problem on my MK6 cab by using a measuring cup I pinched from my Mrs Breadmaker, and a jubilee clip. Works a treat so far ;-)
