  • 3 weeks later...

seeing as yesterday was the first bit of good weather i decided to go see the cab and crack on, my plan for the day was finish the front bonnet and take the drivers door off, didnt go according to plan as the door was being a pain, the check strap wouldnt come off but got there in the end lol,

it was great to fire her up and get her out the garage into the sun for the first time this year, gave me the push i need to get her done and i got excited about it again!

so just a couple of sunny pics really, i only managed to get the door off in the time i spent on her lol

I wondered what happened to your over winter project lol, 90 spec bumper should look great when fitted, are you smoothing the rear bumper as well ?

  • 1 month later...

well its about time i updated lol, things up untll recently were slow due to me being lazy with it and also spending my spare time pulling other cars apart!

But the end is near,

i fitted my new door, what a pain in the arse that was on your own!

And now she is all welded up, repaird the front panel in three places where it was rotten, welded the holes where the bonnet pins were, welded the hole over where the areial was, and finally d-locked my new door, the welds are all ground down and now i just gotta filler them on the body when i get time in the next week or two,

hopefully on tuesday i will be booking it in for paint in about 3 weeks time,

ive got pics of the progress but not had time to upload them yet, all being well i will upload them tommorrow/later !
