Hi, Is is possible to convert my manual roof to electric and if so where is the best place to go and roughly what cost? I am in York so can take it anywhere in yorkshire. Its a 1991 EFI model. Thanks

yes mate i've done mine it cost me about £80 for the whole kit including loom from ebay it took about 1 hour to fit and theres a guide on this site.

yes very easy to do and very cheap too, my pump off ebay cost me £15.01 and came with the rams, switch on ebay too cost a fiver, and followed the instructions on this site, which are very good , i downloaded the instructions at work so didnt have to keep looking at the laptop for guidance

Yes, it is a straightforward job to convert from manual to electric roof, the first thing to do, is get the pump, rams and the electric bits to do the job.

Hi most parts on e-bay for eletric roof convertions but hardest thing to get hold of is the 4 pins for the rams.there is apost to help you with this as other's have stated

yep just done mine such a easy job spec as i didnt even use the instructio ns from here and i havent even got the mount ing bolts so all i done was to drill out 2 hole the width of the pump holes and job done

 

only thing u would be best 2 do is to make sure relays do work b4 you put all your trims back in place as i have found out lol 2 new relays to be ordered now

hmmm, are you sure both relays have failed Richie, its unusual for both to fail at the same time, it sounds like a wiring or supply issue to me.
