Bike Carbs On Cvh

been looking into getting read of the injection system now.. and looking for alternatives..

 

twin 40 webers: to bloody expensive...

 

and then i thought that theres people who put bike carbs on the engine,

 

seen a yamaha r1 set on a crossflow engine before

 

but i wana know how i go about putting them on my rs1600i engine, obviously need set of carbs, which ones do i use?

 

and i need an adapter plate and all the linkage! and i duno where to even look!

 

so help on what carbs

and where do i get the adapter plates, linkage and everything to make em work basically!!

you may have some luck with burton power, but failing that itl be a custom made jobby

 

use a inlet manifold as a template for the base of the plate then get tubes welded to that and fit the tb's to them

hi, you need to look up bogg brothers, i got a full set up for my stage 3 pinto, all for less than £600 that includes the alloy manifold, they work perfectly, are the equivelent to 48 dcoes and return 30 i repeat 30 mpg on average, outrageous!!! look at their website!!!

right, ive got every thing sorted now i just need to know...

 

what do i do with the pipe coming from the brake servo that goes into the inlet and the pipe from the inlet to the distributer?

the manifold should have an outlet on it for the servo pipe if i remember correctly, and the water jacket outlet goes to the heater matrix outlet,
